Another one of my interests is going to the theatre at the Theatre Royal Norwich with my family. The most recent performances I have seen include:

Heather Small - Lead singer of M People and Solo Artist

HMS Pinafore - by Gilbert and Sullivan - starring John Savidant.

Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

Waiting For Godot - by Samuel Beckett - starring Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Simon Callow and Ronald Pickup.

The Glass Menagerie - by Tennesse Williams - starring Oscar nominated film actress Brenda Blethyn.

Peter Pan & The Search For The Lost Boys - Local Youth Theatre Group.

Relatively Speaking - by Alan Ayckbourn - starring Peter Bowles, star of the BBC hit comedy To The Manor Born.

And Then There Were None - by Agatha Christe - starring Gerald Harper, Alex Ferns, Chloe Newsome, Mark Wynter, Jennifer Wilson, Peter Byrne, plus Denis Lill, better known as Mr Rose in ITV's The Royal.

Treasure Island - a play based on the classic book.

Hobson's Choice - starring John Savidant.

The Deep Blue Sea - starring Greta Scacchi and Simon Williams.

Titanic: The Musical - Norfolk & Norwich Amateur Operatic Society .

Dick Whittington - the Pantomime for 2007/08 with former Doctor Who stars Colin Baker and Terry Molloy.

The Comedy Of Errors - a Royal Shakespeare Company production.

42nd Street - the amateur dramatic production.

Cinderella - the Theatre Royal pantomime for 2006/07.

Heroes - starring Christopher Timothy, Art Malik & Michael Jayston.

To Kill A Mockingbird - starring Duncan Preston, star of Victoria Wood and spoof soap Acorn Antiques.

Strangers On A Train - staring Alex Ferns and former Doctor Who star Colin Baker.

Festen - the stage version of the acclaimed film.

Peter Pan - the Theatre Royal pantomime for 2005/06.

Framed - a thriller set in Norfolk, with Thomas Craig & Lucy Benjamin.

Allo Allo - a charity performance at Norwich's Maddermarket Theatre.

The Witches - great family entertainment!

The Jungle Book - a play based on the classic book.

Rebecca - with Nigel Havers, based on the classic novel.

Miss Saigon - the touring version of the top West End show.

Sleeping Beauty - the Christmas Pantomime 2004/05.

Round The Horne - based on the classic BBC Radio series.

Annie - starring Lesley Joseph.

Kiss Me Kate - a local amateur production.

Quartet - starring Stephanie Cole, Angela Thorne, Alec McGowen & Sir Donald Sinden.

Tess Of The D'Ubervilles - starring Paul Shane.

Mack & Mabel - Norfolk & Norwich Amateur Operatic Society at Theatre Royal Norwich.

Sinbad The Sailor - Local Youth Theatre Group.

Jesus Christ Superstar - written by Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

Dick Whittington & His Cat - the pantomime for 2000/01.  It starred Paul Shane, Faith Brown & Anglia TV's Helen McDermott. I thought the show was very good and fun for all the family.

Bedside Manners - this starred Arthur Bostrom and Kim Hartman from the hit TV comedy Allo Allo. Former Goodie Tim Brooke-Taylor was also very funny and entertaining in this play.

Pirates Of Penzance - a very entertaining version of the Gilbert & Sullivan classic.

A Christmas Carol - this was directed by Roy Marsden. This production also starred Eric Richard, who played Sgt Bob Cryer in the hit TV drama The Bill.

Mother Goose - the pantomime for 2001/02. This features Helen McDermott & B C from Anglia TV.

The Hobbit - directed by Roy Marsden from the classic book.

South Pacific - an amateur production of the timeless musical.
